This set for Hull Trucks production of the Beauty Queen of Leenane was a real pleasure to work on. The flagstone floor was cut by hand with cracked flag detail and textured build up to look the part. The set was built to transfer and with many of the elements being seen from various angles on the thrust stage, keeping fixings hidden and discreet was a nice challenge.
The broken walls were built up with polystyrene and protected by timber and a final hard coat after carving
